VSA at USYD's Ordinary meeting where executives will induct new members into the subcommittee and brief them on some of the events and processes for the upcoming year.

4.1 Appointment of the Returning Officer

4.2 Ratification of incoming subcommittee members

Election process

Honorary Membership can be granted to any society member by a two-thirds majority vote at an Ordinary Meeting

1. Secretary will ask the society and committee if they would like a certain person to be a subcommittee member

2. All those in favour raise their hand

3. Otherwise they can abstain by keeping their hand down

4. If a society member is not present, they can still express their nomination by sending an email to [email protected] under the following format:

[Full name]

[Name of Nominee and Position of Nomination]

5. GENERAL BUSINESS

5.1 Discussion of events for remainder of Semester 1 – The President will announce the new subcommittee teams

i. Introduction of executives to incoming subcommittee members + ice breakers

ii. VSA breakdown – events, expectations, team culture, values, etc.
