Creative Awards 2025: submissions are open!

The annual USU Creative Awards is USYD’s largest creative arts prize, highlighting the very best of visual arts, writing, short film and music, from our student members. The USU Creative Awards exhibition is an incredible opportunity for students to showcase work to peers, industry professionals, and the local community.

The USU Creative Awards are divided into the categories Art, Music, Word and Short Film with each category awarding the following prize amounts:
 


🏆1st Prize: $1250

🥈 2nd Prize: $800

💛 People’s Choice: $500

The shortlisted works in each category will be exhibited at Verge Gallery from 25 August – 19 September 2025.

Entries close Monday 16 June, 5pm.
