The 2023 USU Creative Awards exhibition is now open!

Open to all students at The University of Sydney, the annual USU Creative Awards is the USU's largest creative arts prize, highlighting the very best of visual arts, writing, and music, from our student members. Curated by a Masters of Art Curating student, the USU Creative Awards exhibition is an incredible opportunity for students to showcase work to peers, industry professionals, and the local community.

The USU Creative Awards are divided into the categories Art, Music and Word with each category awarding the following prize amounts:
 


1st Prize: $1250

2nd Prize: $800

People’s Choice: $500

The USU Creative Awards exhibition will be presented at Verge Gallery located at the Jane Foss Russell Plaza, University of Sydney. The exhibition is open from 3–20 October and the presentation of awards will take place on 19 October. Verge will host public programs during the exhibition, showcasing the talents of students’ works in the categories of Art, Music, and Word.
