How much funding does my club get?

Grants are capped based on four tiers – new clubs, small, medium and large clubs. They are subject to the overall USU Clubs grants budget and should the budget become exhausted prior to the end of the calendar year, the USU reserves the right to reduce or deny grant applications.

What size is my club?

The ‘New Club’ category applies to clubs that have held their IGM within the previous 12 months, from the census date of the relevant semester. This means for the two semesters following your IGM, you will be categorised as a New Club. This also applies to inactive clubs that have been re-started as a new club. New clubs receive $300 per semester upon successful application.
