AGENDA OF GENERAL MEETING OF WASABI – JAPANESE CULTURAL SOCIETY
TO BE HELD AT 5:00 PM ON THE 31ST OF OCTOBER 2024 ONLINE (ZOOM)

- CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENTS
The following amendments to the constitution are proposed:
3.5 Honorary Membership shall expire 365 days after the member was granted Honorary Membership.
Amend to:

5.5vi Record the names and Access IDs of the members who participate in each event
Amend to:
5.5vi Record the names and USU IDs of the members who participate in each event
5.10 The First Year Representative shall:
i. Collect feedback regarding the Society from first year students at The University of Sydney
ii. Provide ideas and suggestions for the Society from the perspective of a first year student
ii. Deputise for all other Executives

5.11 The General Executives shall:
i. Ensure the Society’s properties and equipment are being stored in an organised manner
ii. Deputise for all other Executives

5.11 The Engagement Officers shall:
i. Manage weekly events to maintain community engagement
ii. Propose and organise strategies to boost community engagement
iii. Direct and delegate tasks for subcommittee
7.7ii Electing a First Year Representative, provided that it is the first Ordinary Meeting of the year

9.1 The Executive shall be elected at the Annual General Meeting in the month of September each year, with the exception of the First Year Representative, who is to be elected at the first Ordinary Meeting of the year, as provided in Clause 7.
