Walk for WAGEC!

~ WADGIM is Walking for WAGEC ~
Women’s and Girls’ Emergency Centre (WAGEC) is a feminist, community-based organisation that supports women and children in crisis.
Last year domestic violence was declared a national crisis. It’s time we demanded more and supported the women and children affected by violence in our community
Walk for WAGEC is a 5km walk or 10km run around Centennial Park, Sydney, to raise money for women and children impacted by violence. The event is on the 4th May, 2025.
The money raised will support WAGEC, so they continue to provide Crisis response, accomodation, recovery programs, specialist support for children and violince prevention initiatives.
