Verge Gallery: White Jade Orchids

Get to know Verge’s latest exhibition:
by Chun Yin Rainbow Chan
6 October – 13 November

Verge Gallery’s latest exhibition by artist Chun Yin Rainbow Chan acts as a meditation on women's songs and stories, on language and the importance of remembering what is almost lost.

Reconnecting with her Wai Tau roots, Chan has begun researching into 圍頭 Wai Tau / Wei Tou women’s cultural knowledge, collaborating with female elders in Lung Yeuk Tau village. Learning from their fading songs and stories, Chan has spawned a growing body of work across music, performance and visual art, to which this exhibition contributes.
