USU Eat Up Packing Day

Lend a helping hand and come pack sandwiches for disadvantaged children experiencing food insecurity!

1 in 5 Australian children experience food insecurity. “In a country like ours, that’s not really fair, is it?” (Eat Up Australia)

🥪 The USU is bringing in Eat Up Australia for a free volunteer sandwich making and packing session to provide food that will go to disadvantaged schools around Australia. 

💭 Eat Up Australia’s mission is to feed hungry kids. They will provide all materials to make the sandwiches and be giving an overview of food insecurity in Australia.
