SWSC – Welcome & Connect

This inaugural event will formally introduce SWSC and its executive team, outlining our mission, aims, and goals to foster understanding, engagement, and a sense of community among members and attendees. Speeches from Uswa and Saachi will highlight the society’s vision, objectives, and opportunities for involvement, followed by introductions of the executive team. The evening will conclude with open networking, accompanied by an interactive icebreaker activity such as Corporate Bingo or Two Truths and a Lie, to encourage meaningful connections and lay the foundation for a collaborative and vibrant society.

Flow of the event

• Opening Introductions – Saachi and Uswa will deliver a joint 5-minute welcome speech to set the tone for the evening.
• Executive Team Introductions – Each member of the executive team will briefly introduce themselves (approximately 1 minute each), sharing their role and a personal touch to help members get to know them.
• Formal Society Address – The Co-Presidents will present a formal speech detailing the society’s mission, aims, and semester agenda.
• Interactive Icebreaker – To create a relaxed atmosphere, attendees will participate in either Corporate Bingo or Two Truths and a Lie.
