AGENDA OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF STUDENT ASSOCIATION OF SPEECH AND HEARING

1. OPENING AND WELCOME

i) Acknowledgement of Country

ii) Brief introduction of AGM

2. APOLOGIES AND LEAVES OF ABSENCE

3. MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING & BUSINESS ARISING FROM THE MINUTES

4. ANNUAL REPORTS

i) President and Vice President

ii) Secretary

iii) Treasurer

iv) Social Media Manager

v) Events Coordinator

vi) General Executives

5. ELECTION OF EXECUTIVES

Appointment of Returning Officer:

Nominations will be considered and voted on for the following positions:

· President

· Vice President

· Secretary

· Treasurer

· Social Media Manager

· Events Coordinator

· General Executives (up to five)

i) Nomination and Selection Processes:

a) Nominees are to submit their nominations via the Google Form available on SASH’s Linktree.

b) When nominations are received and accepted, a voting ballot will be created listening all confirmed candidates. The ballot will include each candidate’s name and the position they are running for.

c) Candidates will have the opportunity to speak briefly to their nomination.

d) The Returning Officer will conduct the vote by secret ballot, ensuring that individual votes are not visible to other attendees or candidates.

e) For each position, the candidate who receives the majority vote of Ordinary members (First Past the Post) will be considered elected.

ii) In case no other candidates ran for any position. Candidate/s will be elected to the position by a vote of confidence.

6. GENERAL BUSINESS

i) Nomination of Bank Signatories: Following election result, the membership endorses the following incoming executives to become authorised signatories on the following club bank account
