AGENDA OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF THE POSTGRADUATE ORGANISATION FOR POLITICAL & SOCIAL SCIENCES (POPSS)

TO BE HELD ON 12 DECEMBER 2024, 6:00 PM AT IGLU SPACE, ISL, LEVEL 4, WENTWORTH BUILDING, UNIVERSITY OF SYDNEY.

1. OPENING AND WELCOME

2. APOLOGIES AND LEAVES OF ABSENCE

3. MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING & BUSINESS ARISING FROM THE MINUTES

4. ELECTION OF EXECUTIVES

· Appointment of Returning Officer

· Nominations will be considered and voted on for the following positions:

· President

· Vice-President

· Secretary

· Treasurer

Nomination instructions:

· Members of POPSS present at the meeting are eligible to self-nominate or nominate candidates for a position.

· Nominations must include the nominee’s name and the position they are being nominated for.

· Nominations will be accepted during the meeting by the Returning Officer and added to the ballot.

· Voting will occur during the meeting immediately after nominations close.

· Ballots will be distributed to all members present.

· Votes will be counted by the Returning Officer and the results will be announced during the meeting.
