Labor Club Annual General Meeting

Dear member,

The annual general meeting of the Labor Club will be held at 6pm Wednesday 27 August 2025 at A14.02.K2.05.The Quadrangle. The Quad General Lecture Theatre K2.05.

This will also be a chance for members to catch-up and meet the new leadership team. Snacks and drinks will be provided.

Nominations are now open and will close on 25 August 2025 at 6pm for the positions of:

i) a President

ii) a Vice-President

iii) a Secretary

iv) a Treasurer

v) a Publicities Officer

vi) a Women’s Officer

vii) a Events Officer

viii) a General Executive

ix) an Assistant Secretary.

x) a Logistics Officer

xi) a Social Justice Officer

xii) a Policy Officer

xiii) a Media Officer

To submit a nomination you must email the Returning Officer, Thomas Wilby at [email protected], with the subject line 'Labor Club Nomination'. If there are insufficient valid nominations received, nominations may be made from the floor.

Only Ordinary Members who become members of the Club on or before 13 August 2025 are eligible to vote or run for positions. Only eligible members who identify as a woman are eligible to nominate or vote for Women's Officer.

Any motions on notice must be submitted by email to [email protected] by Sunday 24 August 2025.

In accordance with University of Sydney Union regulation, attendance is required to be taken during the meeting.
