International Women’s Day 2025

In recognition of International Women’s Day 2025, USU will be hosting a lineup of events as an early celebration. Check it out so you can get involved!

💜  10am, 12pm: Birthing Kit Packing
📍Cullen Room
Together we will be packing 800 kits and educating in clean birthing practices for women birthing at home in remote regions of the developing world. Stay for 5 minutes or 2 hours! Find out more about Birthing Kit Foundation Australia here ↗


💜  2pm – 4pm: Afternoon Tea & Crafts
📍Holme Building
Come along for a light afternoon tea, friendship bracelet crafting and listen to some amazing conversations and musicians!


💜 4pm – 6pm: Women in Music
📍Courtyard Cafe
Join us for an afternoon of music by some local female talent at Courtyard!
Listen to some tunes and make some new friends all here to forge a better world, a world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination.
