Join Food Co-op in electing a Volunteer Coordinator and Stock Coordinator! Please note in order to run for the positions, or vote in this meeting – you must be a member of Food Co-op by the 6th of April!

AGENDA OF GENERAL MEETING OF THE UNIVERSITY OF SYDNEY FOOD CO-OPERATIVE TO

BE HELD AT 5PM THURSDAY 20/04/2025 ONLINE ON ZOOM ONLINE MEETINGS

1. OPENING AND WELCOME

I. Acknowledgement of country

II. I would like to acknowledge the traditional owners of the land on which

we are meeting, the Gadigal people of the Eora nation.

II. Stock level update – Plans to purchase new stock and identifying suppliers

4. ELECTION OF EXECUTIVES

Appointment of Returning Officer

Nominations will be considered and voted on for the following positions:

• Volunteer Coordinator
• Stock Coordinator

I. Nominees must be nominated by ONE Ordinary Member and this must be seconded by ONE OTHER Ordinary Member. Nominations in absence can be

performed by nominee, nominator and seconder alerting the Executive Body before nomination closing.

II. Nominations open Wednesday 19 March 2025 and will close at 5pm Tuesday 18 March 2025. Election will occur at the Annual General Meeting at 5pm Wednesday 19 March 2025 on Zoom Online Meetings.

III. In order to be elected, nominees must accept nomination. Absent nominees assume acceptance, as they have informed the Executive Body.

IV. Nominees should ask current executive members about the roles they are standing for. Nominees should also prepare a short personal introduction and goals for the club to present during the meeting. Absent nominees are exempt, unless wishing to have another Ordinary Member speak on their behalf.

V. Nominees will be elected by a majority of votes of the General Body attending the General Meeting. Successful absent nominees will be informed of their position within 24 hours. Any disputes can be brought up with the Executive Body or emailed to the USU Clubs Team.

The date of the next scheduled meeting is Wednesday 2 April 2025 5pm on zoom online

meetings.
