Animal and Veterinary Bioscience (AVBS) Society Inaugural General Meeting

We’re excited to announce the very first Inaugural General Meeting (IGM) of the AVBS Society! 🎉

This meeting will mark the official launch of our new student society, created to bring together all animal and veterinary bioscience students. At the IGM we’ll:

• Introduce the goals and vision of the society
• Elect the inaugural committee
• Outline upcoming events and opportunities for involvement
• Open the floor to members to share ideas and help shape the society’s future

Appointment of Returning Officer

Nominations will be considered and voted on for the following positions:

· President

· Secretary

· Treasurer

· Vice President

· General Executive (x3)

Nominees will present a 1-minute speech for their desired position. After all nominees have been considered, society members will anonymously write out their vote for each position, which will be counted by the chair.
