Women and Diverse Genders in Music

Our society aims to support and celebrate Women and Gender-Diverse students at the Conservatorium of Music. Providing a safe and inclusive space for bonding, socialising and establishing interpersonal relationships within this cohort. We also offer networking events to nurture professional relationships in the music industry. The society will also foster ideologies of inclusivity, respect and community – acting as a channel of advocacy for students. This will include addressing and forming solutions for points of improvement at the Conservatorium. The society will also offer support and encouragement for Women and Gender-Diverse students to pursue opportunities in male-dominated, binary spaces.
