Wind Orchestra

The Sydney University Wind Orchestra (SUWO) is an award-winning symphonic band that performs a wide repertoire, from classics to popular music and jazz. The band is very active both socially and musically, with weekly rehearsals, end-of-semester concerts and regular social events, including post-rehearsal dinners, board game nights and an annual band camp.

SUWO is an opportunity for wind instrument players of any level to participate and be part of a large performance piece.

– Weekly rehearsal @Gillespie Hall, St Andrews College (Thursday 5pm to 8pm)

– 2 concerts a year, at Verbrugghen Hall (Conservatorium of Music)

– Social events such as trivia nights
