We’re here to keep you connected with all things media & comms – think opportunities to build your portfolio with USYD media outlets, how to find industry internships, and events to get you networking with fellow media makers. We also provide a thriving community, and an easy place to make friends that will last your entire degree.

MECOSOC members can access exclusive professional and networking opportunities, and become part of a resounding network of the best media practitioners in the country.

MECOSOC runs a Meco Ball each year, which is a massive social event allowing the entire cohort and wider community to come together and celebrate.

In addition to Meco Ball, we also regularly host smaller social events, like drinks/pizza for back-to-semester, networking evenings and media welcome events.
