Welcome to SUAVE!

SUAVE aims to create a community of people who have a mutual appreciation for all things UAV design. With members from STEM, Business, and the Arts and from 1st years to 4th years, anyone from any experience level is encouraged to join to learn more about UAVs.

SUAVE also oversees competition teams like the well-known USYD Design Build Fly Team (USYD DBF) as well as Project FASTR. The USYD DBF team develops remote-controlled UAVs to compete in the AIAA Design Build Fly competition. We are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of UAV design while providing an environment for our student members to thrive as both engineers and leaders.
