Skill Sharing Club

The Skill Sharing Club is a not-for-profit community at the University of Sydney dedicated to making hobby exploration and skill learning accessible for everyone. We believe that learning shouldn’t be held back by high costs or the need for formal qualifications.

Our mission is to connect people who want to learn with those who can teach—whether it’s a skill you’ve mastered professionally or a hobby you’ve enjoyed for years. Through regular workshops, themed hobby nights, peer-to-peer exchanges, and “Skill Swap Fairs,” members can discover new interests, share knowledge, and grow together in a friendly, inclusive environment.

Membership is free, and all students are welcome—no certifications required, just curiosity and a willingness to share. Join us to explore new passions, meet like-minded people, and build a community where everyone’s skills have value.
