Queer STEM

The University of Sydney Queers in STEM society (QUEST) is a vibrant group of LGBTQIA+ students studying within the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, as well as Medicine and Health.

Whether you are queer, questioning, or an ally, we are here dedicated to providing you with a fun, safe, and inclusive community on campus. We aim to advocate for the increased visibility and representation of queer students within STEM to provide further opportunities and increased acceptance within the field.

QUEST hosts various social and professional events throughout the year including of academic, networking and social opportunities. So whether you want to come and have a chat at our casual meet ups, are ready to dance the night away at our parties, or would just love some rainbow food (think fairy bread…), come and join QUEST!
