Mathematics Society

Welcome to the USYD Maths Society – we've got a range of activities and events for all! Our academic events include sponsored events with quantitative trading firms and tech giants to our annual integration bee and industry networking night. But if you’re sick of attending lectures and tutorials and want to make new friends, come take part in our social events such as first year camp, cruises, pubcrawls and our weekly chill events (PS. did someone mention free food?)

Our weekly maths talks are given by professors and honours students and are perfect for those interested in the beauty of maths or those considering a career in academia/research. For any math unit takers (looking at you, first year engineers), this society is a MUST with our weekly helpdesk here to help you get on top of your tutorials and quizzes throughout the semester! Our tutors offer support for units including (but not limited to) MATH1X02, MATH1X21 and MATH1X64.
