Geoscience Society

The Geoscience Society (GeoSoc) is dedicated to everyone interested in all things geosciences! We are for all students studying or interested in geology, marine science, geography, environmental studies and sustainability. We work towards creating a strong student community by running a range of events that enrich student life.

You should join if you are interested and passionate about anything to do with our planet. Come to our events, destress from university and meet people with common interests! We run casual meet-ups (coffee, barbecues and drinks), trivia nights and adventures in nature (hikes and beach clean-ups).

Most importantly, we represent you! We run career events to help you engage with industry partners across sustainability, environment and geology, and help the School of Geosciences promote geosciences to our community and beyond.
