Fashion and Beauty Society
The University of Sydney Fashion and Beauty Society (FABSOC) aims to encourage self-expression and individuality by celebrating all things beauty and fashion. Through our events and activities, we hope to educate members on the latest in fashion and beauty, as well as the inner workings of the fashion and beauty industries. We hope you can exchange tips, discuss the trends and make new friends by joining our community of like-minded members!
Lead by a small team of dedicated executives, this Just-For-Fun society has achieved great things both in the remote, digital space and in-person, offering something for everyone with an eye for beautiful things. By fostering this fashion-loving, self-caring, bold-and-daring family, we hope to help a diverse group of students express their inner beauty and put the ‘camp’ back into campus life in 2023!

We offer dozens of discount codes with great brands, as well as year-round events such as dinner dates, beauty workshops, industry panels and Instagram competitions! We’re the kids to watch both on-campus and via social media, providing the inside scoop on USYD trends to watch.
Some of our past event highlights for members include attending runway shows at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, Sydney, and FOMA (Fashion of Multicultural Australia). We have big plans for some new social initiatives as we return to campus, so our society is a great place to meet like-minded people and form lasting friendships!
Every event organised is stand alone, occurring every 2-3 weeks. Because of this, our events offer diverse experiences that celebrate all areas of fashion and beauty. We also work with a significant pool of local and large brands, meaning every experience is one-of-a-kind and ~exclusive~!
