Engineers Without Borders

Engineers Without Borders (EWB) USYD Chapter is part of the national Engineers Without Borders Australia Team. EWB is a non-profit organisation that aims to ‘connect, educate, empower’ and promote social change through humanitarian engineering.

With a focus on making a positive impact in sustainability, community, and education, our chapter runs the STEM Discovery program, where we reach out to schools across NSW to run workshops for students to be engaged in engineering. Part of this involves our bi-annual trips to regional NSW (think super fun road trips 🚗🤩). Outside of this program, we also run events to engage our members in humanitarian engineering (such as our annual designathon and speaker series 🔨⚙️) and will host plenty of social events 👀🍻 to get to know your fellow peers!
