SUABE
The Sydney University Association of Biomedical Engineers was founded in 2004 on the initiative of Professor Andrew Ruys. It was seen that a body should be set up to represent the biomedical engineering students on campus, a group that is becoming almost exponentially larger with each year.
The society caters for the social as well as professional development of its members and is recommended for all biomedical students and anyone interested in the field of biomedical engineering.
As the powerhouse of the Sydney University Engineering societies, we host multiple student social events (including our infamous SUABE Pancakes) and industry networking events to ensure our members gain maximum enjoyment and employment from their university experience.
Community events include our Annual Welcome Dinner, Cocktail Evening, Designathon, Careers Seminars, Knowledge Sharing Panels and much more!
