Asia-Australia Youth Association University of Sydney

Asia-Australia Youth Association (AAYA) is a multilateral youth organization connecting students across Asia and Australia. AAYA University of Sydney works to provide its members, students and young professionals, the opportunity to create lasting relationships across Asia and Australia through social, volunteering, cultural, professional events and more!

AAYA is built off four core pillars:

(a) Improving Asia Literacy

(b) Fostering Cultural Connections

(c) Promoting Academic Development, and

(d) Encouraging Professional Development.

We provide opportunities to study regional issues and establish Asia’s role in the modern world, connect and explore diverse cultures, and educate our members to be well rounded on the cultures, customs, policies and philosophies of the region. AAYA also works to connect members with leading organizations in the Asia-Australia space to further their professional development, through Career Fairs and providing Internship opportunities.
