AIESEC in Sydney
AIESEC is the world’s largest youth-run organization that aims to enable young people to develop their leadership skills through learning from practical experiences in challenging environments. Present in over 120+ countries and having established roots in 8 Australian Universities including USYD, UNSW, MQ, UTS, UniMelb, RMIT, Monash, and UWA. AIESEC is a platform for youth to develop and nurture their skills with like-minded people and mentors. Affiliated with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, AIESEC aims to empower youth to become the leaders of tomorrow, facilitated by the numerous leadership programs we offer.
Our main program Global Volunteer is a 4 to 6 weeks overseas volunteering experience, where youth contributes to social impact projects aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). You will develop leadership skills and create meaningful community impact through working closely with local community‑based initiatives that address real local challenges.
Nationally running this semester, our Youth Speak Forum program, where you can connect with ambitious young leaders, industry professionals, and NGOs, complete with a case competition learning to address pressing global issues and foster action-oriented solutions.
Additionally, our national initiative World’s Largest Lesson is an opportunity to lead interactive workshops in local schools to educate students about the UN Sustainable Development Goals while building confidence in public speaking and facilitation.

Also running this semester is our Ahead Start program, a two-day professional development program, designed to sharpen soft and technical skills, collaborate with talented youth and tackle real-world case competitions in partnership engineering firm, SMEC.

BD (Business Development): Strengthen outreach, public speaking, and stakeholder engagement by connecting AIESEC with student and community groups.

OGX (Outgoing Global Exchange): Gain experience in customer service, intercultural communication, and project coordination by guiding youth through global volunteering.

PM (Physical Marketing): Enhance event management, campaign execution, and on-ground engagement skills through in-person promotional activities.
