Indonesian Student Association
The Indonesian Students Association at the University of Sydney (PPIAxUSYD) was established in 2010. Through our regular weekly and annual events, our community aims to connect students of Indonesian background and/or those interested in Indonesian culture.
Today, PPIA USYD has over 400 active members, dominantly made up of students from Indonesian-backgrounds. We welcome individuals who are interested in being a part of our community, and are excited to build these relationships to better our diversity.
Supported by the Consulate General Republic of Indonesia in Sydney (KJRI), we organise a wide range of regular social, cultural and sporting events throughout the year aimed at stimulating an exchange of language, knowledge and culture. Additionally, we regularly collaborate with prominent organisations in hosting career seminars to provide our members with the opportunity to further their professional development.
We believe that our community has enhanced the overall experience of members by following our national motto of “Bhinneka Tunggal Ika”—Unity in Diversity.
