I'm not a USYD student. Can I get free membership?

Unfortunately, if you're not currently enrolled as a USYD student then you're not eligible for free membership at this time. However, if you're a member of our wider community (such as a USYD staff member or alumnus) you can still join the USU by paying a fee. The fee for 2023 is $45 for 1 year, or $25 for Semester 2 only (available from July). All paid memberships/community accounts currently also include the benefits of USU Rewards.

The USU acknowledges the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation, upon whose stolen land which we operate, gather as employees and live.
