Hermes is our annual journal which publishes a variety of creative works created by USYD students. The University of Sydney Union has proudly published Hermes since 1886 which gives it bragging rights as Australia’s oldest literary journal.
Hermes acts as the printed Creative Catalogue for the USU Creative Awards. Each year talented students who submit their work via The USU Creative Awards get a chance to get published in Hermes, win prize money and maybe even have their works displayed professionally at our very own Verge Gallery.
To find out more and to submit your work, visit our USU Creative Awards page.
