United Nations Society

SUUNS aims to promote awareness of the ideals of the UN.

Why join us?
SUUNS is the first and largest tertiary, student-led and not-for-profit organisation in New South Wales that endeavours to promote awareness of the ideals, objectives and current activities of the United Nations (UN).

Famous FOMO experiences on offer
Throughout the university semester, we offer events such as:
- MiniMUNs, which are simulated UN public speaking debates addressing humanitarian, political, social, security and environmental issues.
- Professional development and speaker events, where MUN training and guest speakers help to develop our future global citizens.
- Social events, to give our members an opportunity to network with like-minded philanthropists. Our largest and anticipated event is our annual Model United Nations Conference, or SydMUN, which is three days of pragmatic research, public speaking debate, finding resolutions to modern world issues and making lifelong friends! If you have any questions at all, we would love to help you out. Send us a message on Facebook or email us at:
