ReCreate Health and Arts
ReCreate Health and Arts was started in 2016, in the Cumberland campus of USYD (within the Faculty of Health Sciences) as a meeting place for like-minded art enthusiasts to learn dance choreography as a community. The Society has also begun conducting leadership trainings for creatives who are interested in developing themselves beyond their craft.
Why join us?
Officially inaugurated by the USU in 2018, the Society has evolved over the years and come a long from way in enriching student life through different forms of creative arts - including dance, music, spoken word poetry, visual arts and other advocacy mediums. Beginners are welcome, no pre-requisite is required. We hope you join our family of creatives and discover your voice.
Famous FOMO experiences on offer
Through primarily song-writing masterclasses, music workshops and jamming sessions, the Society envisions a world of creative expression for generations to come. The Society's first Production was performed at Sydney MetroTheatre (The Lair) in 2019 as a public showcase of original dance, music and visual art works that have been created over the years.
Meet ups & Community
Today, the Society stands as a 31-member community that believes in loving creatively and inspiring generations. Join us at our Weekly Jams, Leadership Trainings and/or ask us about our upcoming Production!
