International and Global Studies

We are a newly established society hoping to bring together a community of like-minded people interested in contemporary global issues. We welcome anyone wishing to connect with fellow students through our social events, and provide opportunities for INGSoc members to develop networks for their future careers!

If you’re an International and Global Studies student, or just keen to connect with other people interested in the world around them, look no further! Join the global community and enrich your university life!

As a new society, we will be having regular social events like pub crawls and trivia nights. We will also be running networking nights to connect with like-minded uni students across campuses.

We plan to hold social events such as Zoom Game Nights, on-campus BBQs and picnics, and networking events to connect our members with global industry organisations and prepare for life after uni.

The USU acknowledges the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation, upon whose stolen land which we operate, gather as employees and live.
