USU KITCHEN: HOW TO MAKE FRIED RICE

Ingredients

2 cups cooked rice
1/3 cup corn 
1/3 cup peas
1/3 cup carrot, finely diced
1 Chinese sausage, diced
1 shallot, chopped
1 egg
1/4 tsp salt
1 pinch of pepper
1/4 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp stock powder
 

Method

1. In a bowl, mix rice, carrot, peas, corn, shallot, Chinese sausage, pepper, stock powder, salt and sugar.
2. Heat oil in fry pan and add ingredients. Stir fry until rice is hot.
3. Make a space in the middle of the fry pan and crack the egg into it. Cook egg until it starts to set and then mix into rice.
